Jennifer Hunt, 61, fronted the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday night and was found not to pose a risk to the community.
It came after the Brunswick West woman hurled abuse at Jacinta Allan over the government’s adult time for violent crime policy, and amid claims she warned the Premier about the sticky protest after being refused a meeting.
She is charged with wilful damage, refuse to state name, refuse to leave parliament and hinder an authorised officer.
The Herald Sun can reveal Ms Hunt put Ms Allan on notice before she protested.
With the crime laws expected to pass parliament this week, Ms Hunt made a last-minute attempt to shut them down by glueing herself to a bench while screaming at Ms Allan.
“I have come to growl at Jacinta Allan,” she said.
“Jacinta Allan, adult time for adult crime? Disgusting! A violation of human rights, what type of a woman are you?
“God save the children because nothing will save Jacinta Allan.”
The chaotic ordeal was broadcast live to her Facebook page, with Ms Hunt heard telling officers she had superglued herself to the public gallery.
“I’m glued,” she says, prompting an officer to question whether she had in fact glued herself to the bench.
“Well I f--king am,” she responds.
She can also be heard telling the officers she wanted to “explain to Jacinta Allan that she is a genocidal maniac”.
Ms Hunt, who regularly posts selfie videos on social media ranting about the “genocide” in Palestine, describes herself as a sovereign citizen and a “fictitious corporate entity”.
In one video posted two weeks ago, Ms Hunt tells her viewers that she called the Premier’s office but was told that she was not available.
“I did yell, I did, and then the girl hung up on me so I sent an email to Jacinta just promising that I will glue myself onto her front door, sometime, unless she calls me,” she said
“It will happen.”
Ms Hunt then urged people to pay Ms Allan a visit at her office to have “a chat”.
“I say go visit that stupid, stupid evil, evil, evil, doing the work of the devil with her fancy shoes and her briefcase,” she said.
“A chat – do not break the law,” she clarifies.
Ms Hunt also previously glued herself to the office of federal Labor MP Peter Khalil in a protest over the war in Gaza.
‘What kind of glue did you use?’
During Wednesday’s protest PSOs rushed Ms Hunt who demanded to be left alone.
“I do not have to move, am I under arrest?” she screamed.
The extraordinary outburst forced MPs to leave the Legislative Assembly as authorities tried to work out what to do with the woman.
Ms Hunt was seen speaking to police and protective service officers in the public gallery.
Her hand was seen glued to the banister as an officer asked her “what kind of glue did you use?”
At least nine police officers assembled while Ms Hunt spoke to paramedics in the public gallery.
She was removed from the banister at 3.14pm and shouted at police that she was “feeling harassed” and insisted the officers had violated her rights by taking her phone.
Police told her she was under arrest and marched her out of the gallery at 3.16pm.
The woman was then taken out of parliament and escorted into a police car.
She continued to rant about the government’s crime reform and shouted that Jacinta Allan was on her “list”.
“It is alleged the woman attempted to glue her hand to a chair inside Parliament House on Spring Street about 2.10pm,” a police spokesperson said.
“The woman was able to remove her hand from the chair without assistance.”
Premier Jacinta Allan said she would not be deterred by the protester.
“Violent crime is serious. Stunts like these certainly aren’t. They will not deter us one bit,” she said.
“I acknowledge people have different views, but I am listening to victims of crime – that’s why we’re pushing ahead with Adult Time for Violent Crime, so the chance of jail is stronger, and sentences are longer.
“We want Adult Time for Violent Crime in place as soon as possible.
“MPs won’t be leaving Parliament this week until our Bill passes.”
Ms Hunt is set to next appear in court on February 3, 2026.
