Over 200 MGs are making their way to Melbourne.

The 2025 MG Car Club Concours d’Elegance is set to start at 9am Sunday at the Wesley College grounds on St Kilda Rd.

MG Car Club Victoria Secretary Tony Lupton said the event is the largest of its kind in Australia.

“People will be able to get up close to the widest variety of MGs, from pre-war examples, through the much-loved MGA and MGB models to racing cars and new electric vehicles,” he said.

“These are the very best cars of their kind, whether they are perfectly restored, modified for motorsport or used as regular daily transport.

“This is an opportunity for everyone to talk to the owners, sit in one of these classics and find out why MG is the most popular sports car ever made.”

Mr Lupton said food and refreshment vans would be available, and he encouraged attendees to bring a picnic rug and enjoy the atmosphere.
