Labor has clinched a record landslide win in the federal election, however in Victoria more than half a dozen seats are still too close to call.
The ultimate results could see big changes including incumbent such as Greens leader Adam Bandt and popular Teal MP Zoe Daniels potentially being turfed out.

Goldstein
Liberal vs Independent
Liberal Tim Wilson leads by 334 votes (3pm)
Liberal candidate Tim Wilson has reclaimed the bayside Melbourne seat of Goldstein from teal independent member Zoe Daniel, Sky News projected Tuesday afternoon.
On Tuesday morning on first preference votes there had been a 4.1 per cent swing toward the Liberal candidate, but with over 10,000 postal votes still being counted it was deemed to close to call.
Mr Wilson was picking up the lion’s share of postal votes.
By noon on Tuesday on a two-candidate preferred result Mr Wilson on 50.01 per cent was leading Ms Daniel on 49.81 per cent.
Sky News called the closely watched electorate for Mr Wilson at 2.07pm, noting postal votes were heavily favouring Mr Wilson.
The call marks a dramatic reversal of fortune for Ms Daniel, after she declared victory on Saturday night to cheers, confetti, and the sound of Sia’s pop song, Titanium.
On Monday she posted a video to social media saying she would “keep dancing” while the counting continued.
Melbourne
Labor vs Greens
Labor’s Sarah Witty leads by 1236 votes (3pm)
In the seat of Melbourne things are not looking good for Greens leader Adam Bandt who has held the electorate since 2010, but is currently trailing Ms Witty.
At last count on Tuesday morning Ms Witty was ahead on the two-party preferred vote, leading 56.91 per cent to Mr Bandt’s 43.09 per cent.
Mr Bandt was leading the first preference votes with 40.99 per cent compared to Ms Witty’s 31.44 per cent
At the last federal election Mr Bandt had won on a comfortable margin of 6.5 per cent.

Labor vs Greens
Labor’s Peter Kahlil leads by 3356 votes (3pm)
Mr Khalil appears to be holding off former Victorian Greens leader Samantha Ratnam despite a 7.5 per cent swing toward the Greens.
At last tally on a two-candidate proffered margin the votes were in favour of Mr Kahlil 51.58 per cent to Ms Ratnam’s 48.42 per cent.
Kooyong
Independent vs Liberal
Independent Monique Ryan is ahead 1001 votes
Independent Monique Ryan has already boldly claimed the seat however Liberals’ Amelia Hamer is clawing back postal votes leaving the seat in play.
On Tuesday morning on a two-candidate preferred tally Ms Ryan was leading slightly 50.52 per cent to 49.48 per cent.

Labor in the lead (preferences not counted)
No preferences counted yet but on first preference votes Labor‘s Basem Abdo is sitting ahead of the Liberal’s Usman Ghani.
Bendigo
Labor Vs Nationals
Nationals Andrew Lethlean ahead by 2213 votes (3pm)
ALP’s Lisa Chesters is battling Nationals’ Andrew Lethlean.
On a two-candidate preferred vote Mr Lethlean is on 52.5 per cent versus Ms Chester’s 47.5 per cent.
The Bendigo electorate is held in the state election by Jacinta Allan, but Labor insiders say the swing against the party in the seat was due to the Nationals choosing to run a candidate.

Liberal vs independent
Liberal Zoe McKenzie in the lead (preferences not counted)
South of Melbourne in Flinders Liberal’s Zoe McKenzie is ahead of independent Ben Smith with 41.17 per cent of first preference votes.
