Jess Wilson wins leadership of the Victorian Liberal Party after toppling Brad Battin

New Victorian Liberal leader Jess Wilson has said Victorians now “have a clear choice”, to vote for the Liberal Party instead of Labor at the next election, describing her party as “united” after years of infighting.

Victorian Liberal MPs have voted to make Jess Wilson the new Liberal Party leader, toppling Brad Battin after he was informed he no longer had the confidence of the party room.
