‘Suspicious’ fire destroys BMW on Ring Road, Douglas

Police are investigating a ‘suspicious’ fire after a broken down car left along the Ring Road was located up in flames the next morning.

Police are investigating a ‘suspicious’ fire after a broken down car left along the Ring Road was located up in flames the next morning.

According to initial reports, a blue 1997 BMW had broken down on Saturday along the Ring Road in Douglas.

The vehicle was locked and secured, as it could not be moved.

At around 1.45am Sunday morning, police were called to reports the BMW was fully engulfed.

The fire was extinguished and is being treated as suspicious.

Anyone with information or who may have relevant vision are urged to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
