Man fighting for life after ‘long fall’ from Townsville City apartment building

Emergency crews have blocked off part of Townsville’s CBD after a man in his thirties fell from an apartment building.

Emergency crews are on the scene after a man fell from an unknown height from a building in Townsville's CBD.

A man is being treated for life-threatening injuries after a ‘long fall’ from a building on Ogden Street in Townsville’s CBD just before 3pm.

Police said a male, aged in his 30s, had fallen from an unknown height.

Emergency crews are currently on the scene and advised it was too early to know what has occurred.

Part of Ogden Street has been closed while police investigate the incident.
