Human Nature’s Toby Allen will soak up all Townsville has to offer in the MTWN 20 regional tour

The musicians revealed why they’ve hit the regional stages more than ever before ahead of their massive tour.

Human Nature will perform in Townsville on September 26 as part of the MTWN 20 regional tour.

Human Nature have revealed the joys of performing for regional Australian crowds, ahead of the MTWN 20 regional tour.

The group will travel to North Queensland on September 26 for a show at the Townsville Entertainment & Convention Centre.

Band member Toby Allen said the idea of performing in Townsville is more exciting than Las Vegas.

“We don’t get to do it much,” he said.

“We’ve performed in Vegas now for 16 years, and we still love doing what we do here, and the crowds change all the time.”

“Playing for a home country crowd, it beats it hands down anytime.”

While the group is in the region, Mr Allen said they’ll be soaking up all North Queensland has to offer.

“We’re so excited, [Townsville] is such a beautiful spot,” he said.

“Living in Vegas, we have a couple of fake beaches here on the strip, but we’re so far from any real beaches or great waterways.”

“It’s always something I look forward to when I come back home.”

Mr Allen said it’s special to see how much regional crowds appreciate acts coming to their town.

“When we were in Lismore on one of the regional tours, I was out in the foyer after the show talking to my auntie,” he said.

“One of the ushers came up and said ‘sorry to bother you, but Lismore is going to be talking about this for the next 10 years’.”

“It’s a different energy when we tour regionally, because people are so appreciative of you coming to their town.”

Mr Allen said regional tours have kicked off for the group fairly recently, and there’s no sign the group will slow down.

“We’ve done more regional touring in the last four years than we’ve probably ever done in our careers,” he said.

“We hadn’t done any regional touring since about 15 years prior to that.”

Tickets are on sale for Human Nature’s Townsville show, and Mr Allen said fans have “got to come check it out.”

“It’ll be a fun night, so if people can get along, I can pretty much guarantee they’ll have a great time,” he said.

“We have a whole lot of fun, and our aim is to get the crowd to have as much fun.”
