Australian singer Conrad Sewell will return to Townsville for part two of his Firestone 10th Anniversary tour.
Supported by Rene Le Feuvre, the tour will give regional Queenslanders the opportunity to experience Conrad’s music in a stripped back setting.
The ‘Start Again’ singer last hit the region in 2023, and said he can’t wait to enjoy beautiful North Queensland.
“I’ve got family up there, so it’s always nice to go up and get to play for family that don’t get to see me every now and then,” he said.
“I usually take a day or two and see what’s going on.”
Conrad’s tour kicked off in Coffs Harbour on April 4, and the second leg will begin on July 4 in Geelong.
“It’s been really good, there’s been great turnout,” he said.
“There’s a lot of love in the room, so I really enjoy it.”
Conrad said he especially enjoys playing in regional parts of Australia, as he is able to “connect with the fans” and perform in a stripped back way.
“We’ve done regional before and it was a really special tour, so I wanted to do it again,” he said.
“I get to see parts of the country you usually don’t get to go to, and the people really appreciate it.”
Conrad will play Dalrymple Hotel on Saturday, July 26.
