Teen fighting for life stabbing spree at hotel in Adelaide CBD

A 16-year-old is fighting for life and two other men have been injured following an alleged horror stabbing spree at a hotel.

A teenager is fighting for life after an alleged horror stabbing at a central Adelaide apartment.

Emergency services were called to Altitude Apartments located in the CBD, near Franklin, Waymouth and Morphett Street, just before 5am on Monday after reports of an assault.

Two other men were also injured in the incident and are being treated at Royal Adelaide Hospital.

A 27-year old Craigmore man suffered cuts across his chest, a 31-year old Murray Bridge man suffered a laceration to his head and stab wounds to his abdomen and a 16-year old Brahma Lodge boy suffered stab wounds to his back, thighs and hands.

The teenager remains in a critical condition while the other two are in a stable condition, South Australia Police said in a statement.

Footage captured by 9News shows police and paramedics swarming the scene, with broken glass visible on the floor of the hotel lobby.

The area has been closed off by police, and officers are currently interviewing one person.

Police believe the men involved were known to each other and it was not a random incident.
