The ending to the movie Planet of the Apes
The planet is actually Earth, far in the future, when apes have evolved and humans have lost the power of speech. Charlton Heston’s character discovers the Statue of Liberty half-buried in sand on a beach and realises it was likely the cause of a nuclear war (cue one of cinema’s most famous lines, “You maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!”) Now you can look at the DVD cover.
