The ending to the movie Memento

The final scenes of Memento is really the beginning, so for simplicity’s sake we’ll do the short version (you can read the long version here, if you really want, but just see it first) — Leonard found his wife’s murderer long ago but forgot. The film’s final moments show what leads up to him killing the man who’s been helping him — basically, that he’d rather keep searching for the killer than stop and accept her death.
