Don't miss out on the headlines from Tasmania. Followed categories will be added to My News.
Tasmania’s biggest and best reader survey is back and we want to hear from you.
The Mercury’s bumper holiday season Big Issues online survey is ready for you to deliver your verdict on the biggest topics facing the state.
We’re keen to hear what our readers really think on the big issues from local, state and federal politics, the stadium, social media bans and nuclear power.
In previous years, our readers have shared their concerns about the state’s health system, about the risk of over-tourism and the challenge of climate change and the answers have made for fascinating reading.
We’re keen to hear from you again. It’s time for your verdict on the year, on the housing crisis, on the Spirit ferries, on education, and bike lanes. Are you happy in your job? Should Australia become a republic?
The Big Issues Survey runs until the new year, then we’ll share the answers on our pages and at themercury.com.au.
There are 85 questions and many require simply a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ response. It should take a little more than 10 minutes.
