FROM high-powered QCs to an ascendant Hollywood star, from renowned restaurateurs to the woman who turned around one of Adelaide’s most beloved institutions, today we reveal 20 more of South Australia’s 100 Most Influential People.
Selected by a panel of leaders from the Advertiser newsroom, the criteria for selection to this exclusive list was threefold. The top 100 have either had a significant impact in the past year or are likely to do so in 2018. And importantly, they have all done something differently that had a real impact on our community, beyond just holding a powerful or influential position.
Twenty more people will be revealed each lunchtime this week until the top 20 is unveiled at noon on Friday — including the person judged to be the most influential in South Australia.
No list like this can be conclusive or set in stone. Some will vehemently disagree with who was included — and who was left out.
But whether you know them or not, each of these people significantly contributes to shaping our state and the lives of the people who live here.
After the full list is revealed we will open a discussion with our readers on the top 100 and whether you agree with our selections.
