A woman has lost her licence for 12 months after driving erratically on Moana Beach on Saturday night.

The 38-year-old was allegedly driving dangerously along the coast near young children and families.

Footage shows a red Mazda driving along the shore and weaving between groups of people. The car came to a halt as a toddler was pulled out of its way before racing off.

Witnesses said the car was driving at 60km/h and that they saw it do a burnout.

“I saw a lot of people going up to yell at her and she was flipping them off,” Sarah Slater told 9News.

The woman was caught by police after becoming bogged. Police said she refused a breath test but was taken to Noarlunga Hospital for a blood test.

The woman’s car was impounded.
