Diversions were in place at the time of the accident but northbound route traffic from Dublin via Mallala has since reopened.

Southbound heavy vehicles were also being escorted using one lane, while light vehicle traffic was being redirected via Mudge Rd and Shrike Rd.

Motorists were urged to avoid the area if possible.

Her death is the 11th life lost on South Australian roads in 2023, compared with four at this time last year.
