The spate of heavy rainfall across the state on Friday, saw Adelaide record its wettest day in five months.
Parts of the state were hit with flash flooding throughout the day with Parawa West recording the highest rainfall of 17.8mm since 9am, while 18mm of rain splashed across Loxton in the Riverlands.
About 15mm of rain hit Warooka on the Yorke Peninsula.
State Emergency Services crews were kept on their toes after receiving 74 calls outs by 7pm, most of which being flooding salvage and severe weather incidents.
Park lawns across Adelaide were drenched in water, as rainfall gushed through the Players Race at Prospect Oval.
Motorists travelling through high impacted areas, particularly the southern suburbs, are being warned of remaining flooding on busy roads and waterways.
Cloudy weather conditions are not expected to ease until Sunday, with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting a high chance of rain on Saturday as temperatures top 15C in Adelaide.
Sunday’s mostly sunny weather conditions will come with some light winds, as temperatures hit 17C before dropping to a 5C to 6C overnight.
