Former Port Adelaide vice-captain Hamish Hartlett and wife, Luba Gvozdenovic have announced the safe arrival of their first child.
Oscar Graham Hartlett was born on Sunday, January 12 at 4:30pm.
The couple shared the happy news on Instagram and thanked the “wonderful staff at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital”, with a special mention given to their midwives.
“Mum was an absolute superstar,” Hartlett wrote of his wife.
“Everyone happy and healthy now and enjoying some family time at home.”
The comment section was quickly flooded with well-wishes including a message from Hartlett’s former Power teammate, Sam Powell-Pepper who recently announced he is expecting his third child with wife Brya.
“Beautiful boy,” Powell-Pepper wrote with a love heart eyes emoji.
“Congrats to you both.”
After being delisted in 2021, Hartlett returned to Port Adelaide as a development coach working with defenders in 2023 and stepped up as the SANFL Port Adelaide Magpies senior coach in 2024.
