A heavy blanket of low-hanging fog covering many parts of Adelaide on Friday morning caused flight delays at Adelaide Airport and dangerous road conditions.
Four Adelaide-bound flights were delayed just after 8am, and sent into a holding pattern.
All other domestic and international flights earlier in the morning were able to land.
Fog was particularly heavy in the Hills and eastern suburbs – and made its way into the CBD.
The Bureau of Meteorology has tipped a cloudy day for the rest of Friday with light winds and a top of 16C.
Fog is expected to return on Saturday morning with a chance of morning frost in the southern suburbs, however the weather is starting to heat up into next week.
Sunday is tipped for 20C while Monday has been tipped for a top of 22C.
