SEVERAL cars have been damaged by debris and water from a burst water main at Klemzig.
The main burst on Reece Ave, near the intersection of North East Rd, about 6.30am on Saturday, sending bitumen and water spewing into the air.
Pieces of debris smashed windows and panels of about 10 cars in a used car yard on the corner of Reece Ave and North East Rd. Some vehicles also sustained water damage.
Total damage is estimated to be several thousand dollars.
A manager at the car yard did not wish to comment at length but said he was already in discussions with SA Water regarding who would pay insurance.
