Watch: Drone capture flying ‘dangerously close’ during air show
The incident between a drone and F-35 fighter jet occurred on the last day of the Adelaide 500 supercars race.

A drone has been caught on camera flying within metres of a fighter jet during Sunday’s Adelaide 500 air show.
Footage obtained by 9 News Adelaide showed the drone skimming past the F-35A Lighting II just after 2:30pm, as it performed aerial manoeuvres over the racetrack.
The Department of Defence and Civil Aviation Safety Authority is investigating the incident and CASA has urged drone pilots to follow all relevant safety obligations.
