Warmer weather for Adelaide’s 2024 National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant on Saturday

It seems it usually pours with rain during Adelaide’s Christmas Pageant. So what will the weather be like on Saturday for this year’s much-loved festive event.

The big man in red will not only be hailing the festive spirit this year at the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant on Saturday – but also bring in the warmer weather.

Adelaide’s metropolitan area will be feeling the rays of sunshine leading up to the annual Christmas event before temperatures drop at the end of the week.

The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast the rest of Thursday to be 25C with mostly sunny conditions and light winds.

Those temperatures will stay consist in other parts of the state with Elizabeth reaching 26C, Glenelg and Noarlunga are also expected to hit 23C and Mount Barker will be a top of 21C.

Friday temperatures will be similar, with the heat climbing to a maximum of 24C in the city.

Meanwhile, on the big day of the pageant, temperatures will reach a top of 34C but the clouds will increase throughout the day.

The bureau predicts that Saturday’s shifting weather will result in cool change.

Sunday might bring in a possible shower or two, most likely in the morning, with light winds not exceeding 30km/h during the day.

Temperatures are set to drop back down to a cool 23C in Adelaide’s metro area on both Sunday and Monday.
