Video released after Grange Rd business targeted in three alleged arson attacks

New CCTV footage from the alleged firebombing of a Flinders Park office shows one perpetrator run from the blaze alight.

Suspect sets himself on fire during Flinders Park arson

New CCTV footage of an alleged fire bomb attack shows one of the perpetrators accidentally set himself alight after pouring fuel in front of a Flinders Park business.

During the third attack on one Grange Road real estate office, two men could be seen placing red fuel containers and pouring fuel about 2am on October 18.

Ignited shortly after in a large blaze, the alleged fire bombing attempt left one of the two men running from the office trailing flames on his pant leg.

The suspects fled the seen in a white Ford XR6, the same car that appeared in CCTV footage from an attack on the business only days earlier on October 12.

Detectives have released the footage as the investigation into the incident continues.

Footage showed two men attempting to kick in the front door of the office before pouring a liquid and igniting it about 4.15am on October 12.

The following morning emergency services responded to call outs of an alarm activation at the business.

They arrived to find fuel had been poured through an open window and a small fire had been started inside, causing minimal damage.

Police have since found a black Kawasaki Ninja motorbike that was captured arriving at the location, but are yet to find the white Ford.
