AN Unley High student has been suspended for organising the controversial schoolies T-shirts that bragged Unley students would be “the drunkest and the highest”, with pictures of bongs and goon bags.
The Advertiser last week revealed about 60 of the T-shirts had been made, prompting anger from some parents.
It is understood the two-day suspension meant the girl could not attend a practice for a graduation ceremony.
“An important part of the education process is teaching students that actions have consequences and that responsibility is accepted for decisions,” principal Brenda Harris said.
“The school has discussed this fully with the parents and students involved”.
