The creatures may be mythical but the fun is real.

Unicorns are adding a touch of magic to children’s parties and the demand is increasing.

With Covid restrictions easing, party planning is back in full swing and themes include Lego, disco, unicorns and fairies.

At Montacute, in the Adelaide Hills, Libby Green runs Classic Carriage Drives, which is one of several South Australian businesses featuring unicorn parties.

“Indiana has proven herself as a unicorn and her popularity is growing,” Ms Green said.

“Her small sidekick Mabel is learning what it takes to be a unicorn.”

Some children queried whether Indiana and Mabel were real unicorns but Ms Green said, “Indiana believes she is.”

Classic Carriage Drives offers meetings with Indiana and Mabel at a unicorn tea party. The afternoon includes feeding, decorating and riding the unicorns.
