The 53-year-old was granted bail and will appear in the Kadina Magistrates Court on August 21.

The Weekly Advertiser reported the bus was carrying staff, students and parents from Horsham’s Holy Trinity Lutheran College.

The article states the accident occurred during a tour of central Australia.

College principal James Phillips told The Weekly Advertiser that alternate transport was promptly arranged for the passengers.

“The care, safety and welfare of students are always the college’s and my personal priority,” she said.

This comes after two children and a teen were hit by a car at Parafield Gardens on Thursday night.

Emergency services were called to the Salisbury Hwy, near Shepherdson Rd, at 6.30pm after reports of a Mazda, travelling South, colliding with pedestrians.

An 18-year-old woman from Parafield Gardens, 13-year-old girl from Parafield Gardens and 12-year-old girl from Paralowie were taken to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital as a precautionary measure.

It is understood they only received minor injuries.

A 41-year-old Parafield Gardens woman, driving the car, was not injured.

Police are continuing to investigate the crash.

It followed a serious crash in Adelaide on Thursday morning that saw a mother and daughter hit by a LandCrusier on Angas St.
