Tram strike in Adelaide and Belair train station closures to impact football crowds
As tram workers strike over fair pay on Saturday, football fans are warned to make alternative travel plans for the Crows do-or-die clash at Adelaide Oval.

Footy crowds will be disrupted by a tram strike in Adelaide this weekend, with train line closures also planned.
Trains won’t be running between the Adelaide and Belair stations on Saturday and Sunday as works start to repair tracks damaged during extreme wet weather.
Replacement buses will be running between the stations.
The Adelaide Crows take on the Sydney Swans at Adelaide Oval from 7.10 on Saturday night.
Tram commuters will also be affected with workers taking industrial action in support of better pay and conditions.
Rail, Tram and Bus Union SA/NT branch secretary Darren Phillips said people attending the football should allow extra travel time or arrange alternative travel methods.
Train and tram passengers are encouraged to visit the Adelaide Metro website to check their timetable in real time and plan their trip with Adelaide Metro’s journey planner.
