Earlier crash on South Eastern Freeway cleared | Traffic now flowing on Southern Expressway near Darlington

Traffic has now cleared on the South Eastern Freeway following a crash on Thursday morning. Meanwhile, citybound on the Southern Expressway at Darlington is unrestricted.

Citybound traffic from Stirling to Hahndorf has now cleared, following a crash.

A car reportedly crashed on Old Carey Gully Rd at Stirling about 8am on Thursday morning.

Traffic SA data showed at 9am that 10 minutes of delays were experienced, with cars banked up for kilometres.

Also this morning, traffic on the Southern Expressway is now cleared following a crash at Darlington.

Data from Traffic SA showed delays of up to five minutes between Majors Rd and Darlington following a crash near Seacombe Rd about 6.50am on Thursday morning.

Traffic was reportedly banked up for at least a kilometre.

It comes after heavy delays were experienced by motorists heading along the Expressway towards the CBD on Monday.

Traffic was reduced from 80km/h to 40km/h at towards the bottom of the Expressway due to a crash.

The crash happened near Seacombe Rd at O’Halloran Hill about 6.50am on Monday morning.

Data from Traffic SA says the road is now free-flowing, after delays were from beyond Majors Rd through to Darlington.
