Three men arrested and two people on the run after Hope Valley break-in

There were a series of dramatic arrests overnight after police tracked three men linked to a break-in.

Three men have been arrested and two others remain on the run after an overnight break-in at Hope Valley.

A group of five men allegedly forced their way into a home on Reservoir Rd about 11.20pm Sunday sparking the police helicopter to be deployed.

Officers from above watched as the group were taking property from inside the home and putting it into vehicles parked outside.

Police were quickly at the scene on ground as two people tried to flee the area on foot.
A third person was seen jumping fences running north.

An Elizabeth Park man, 47 was found in the yard of a nearby property while two men, one from Elizabeth North, 45, and the other from Blakeview, 35, were found and arrested in a vehicle in the driveway.

Two more offenders have not been located.

The arrested trio were charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass and theft and were refused bail to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.

The stolen property including an e-scooter, alcohol and cash has been recovered and returned to the victim.

Police say the incident was not random and all parties were known to each other.
