South Australian footy fans are being given more access to AFL games with a new and expanded membership.
Along with access to all Adelaide and Port Adelaide home games in the Western Stand’s members area, a new fully transferable membership will also provide entry to all six AFL games in the festival of footy from April 13-16.
The Ultimate Football Membership will replace the previous Adelaide Oval Football Membership and provides greater value at no additional cost.
Sadie Vikor-Ian is keen for the new memberships to see their favourite teams play.
“Most of our family go for Swans but Dad is Port so, hopefully, we can see both teams play here next year for Magic Round and when the Swans play the Power during the year,” Ms Vikor-Ian said.
The membership also includes entry into the Village Green behind the Western Stand on match days.
Members will also gain entry into six SANFL minor round matches, as well as all SANFL finals and the grand final played at Adelaide Oval.
The membership is $345 for juniors, $560 for a concession card holder and $710 for an adult.
The AFL last month awarded SA the chance to host all 18 teams in the fifth week of the 2023 season as part of the league’s inaugural festival of football.
Adelaide Oval will have six matches and Norwood Oval is locked in for two.
Two more grounds north of the city are also being considered to host an AFL game as the South Australian Government urges the league to turn every stone around the Barossa Valley before settling on a location.
