Cheques for $11,650.57 were received by the president of the SA branch of the Australian Kidney Foundation, Dr Alan Clarkson (left) and $135,274.38 by the president of Minda Incorporated, Mr J. R. Dunsford. 2 May 1978.

He gave $207,359 to Minda Home president Mr Jack Dunsford (left) and $12,457 to Autistic Children’s Association president, Mr Craig Speil. The 1979 Telethon was organsed by 5DN and Channel 9. The cheques were presented in the Channel 9 studios at North Adelaide. April 1980.
