THE second of two teenagers charged over the fiery road crash that killed mother of two Nicole Tucker will confess his role in the tragedy and plead guilty, a court has heard.

On Thursday, counsel for the boy, 17, asked the Youth Court for a hearing date in two weeks’ time so their client could enter his pleas to traffic and theft charges.

He was a passenger in the ute that was travelling at more than 160km/h prior to crashing into Ms Tucker’s car at Bedford Park on October 6.

Ms Tucker — who, her family said, was selfless and “put everyone else first and herself a long way second” — was headed north on South Rd at the time of the crash.

The driver of the ute, 15, has already pleaded guilty to one aggravated count of causing Ms Tucker’s death by dangerous driving.

Prosecutors have flagged their intention to seek to have him sentenced in the District Court, where he faces a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.

On Thursday, the court remanded the 17-year-old in custody to a hearing in two weeks, and the 15-year-old to a hearing date in January.
