Teen kicked in face during Hindley Street carpark robbery that led to triple arrest

Four young men, including a 15-year-old, have been arrested in two separate incidents along Adelaide’s main party strip.

Four people – including a 15-year-old boy – have been arrested after a night of violence on Hindley St overnight.

One incident led to a man being taken to hospital after an alleged assault at a popular CBD bar on Saturday.

Police said the victim sustained a laceration to his face and the back of his head after he was allegedly punched and fell to the ground.

Police were called to the Black Bull Hotel just before 10pm and found the 19-year-old suspect nearby.

The man was arrested and charged with assault cause harm.

He was refused bail and will face the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.

Hours later, two teenagers were allegedly assaulted at a Hindley St carpark by three known suspects who then allegedly stole their belongings before the victims fled.

One of the teens was allegedly kicked to the face and sustained minor facial injuries.

Police were alerted to the incident by the two alleged victims around 2.45am, and found the suspects nearby, on Leigh St.

One of the suspects allegedly tried to flee up seeing police but was promptly chased down and arrested.

A 19-year-old Andrews Farm man, 20-year-old Munno Para West man and 15-year-old boy from Pooraka were charged with various serious offences, including aggravated robbery, carrying an offensive weapon, theft and breach of bail.

The two men were refused bail and will face the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday while the 15-year-old was granted bail and is expected to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on August 21.

The stolen property was recovered by police and will be returned to the victims.
