A severe weather warning for the Adelaide metropolitan area has been cancelled, but parts of South Australia will be windy and wet.
More than 1000 properties around Glenelg were still without power before 8am today following windy conditions on Thursday that left at least 4000 in the dark at 6pm, including many businesses.
Meanwhile, hundreds of other properties remain blacked out in the southeast corner of the state.
The warning for damaging winds also extended to the Mount Lofty Ranges, Yorke Peninsula, Mid North, Riverland and Kangaroo Island.
At 10.15am, the warning had been reduced to just the Fleurieu Peninsula and Kangaroo Island.

Slightly warmer than Thursday, a maximum 21C is forecast on Friday but the rain is not expected to clear.
Falls of up to 15mm has been predicted in Adelaide, while even more than that could fall in the hills.
Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Vince Rowlands says Renmark received 29mm overnight, while 10mm has fallen in Adelaide since 9am Thursday.
"Still expecting some rain this morning, but it might clear out a little bit earlier than I was originally thinking," Mr Rowlands said.
"But it's not really clearing, it's just easing to showers that will continue off and on for the rest of the day," he said.
The State Emergency Service has warned motorists of wet roads today, advising to use headlights if the visibility is poor and be alert to sudden changes in road conditions.
This turbulent weather comes from a low pressure system that has developed in Victoria, where they have been inundated with 180mm of rain.
Relief in Adelaide can be expected over the weekend, as just 5mm and 24C is forecast on Saturday and 24C with a drizzle on Sunday.
