SACE 2017: Year 12 results to be released Tuesday morning

THE long wait is almost over.Year 12 students can go online for their results this morning from 8.30am.. Here is your guide to SACE results for the class of 2017.
What is the ATAR?
THE ATAR is the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank, which is a tool designed to assist tertiary institutions when selecting students for courses.
The ATAR is an indicator of how well a student has performed relative to other secondary school students across Australia.
It is calculated based on your “university aggregate” and then reported on your Tertiary Entrance Statement (provided you are eligible to receive one). An ATAR is a figure between 0 and 99.95.
Where can I find out about my SACE results?
End of year results will be available in the SACEStudents Online systemfrom 8.30am Tuesday.
GO TO sace.sa.edu.au to check your Students Onlineaccess details before accessing your results.
LOG IN to Students Online using your SACE registration number (6 digits followed by a letter) and PIN (4 digits).

Note: PIN resets may take a few hours on results release day. It’s a good idea to check you can login before the day.
What is SATAC?
YOUR applications for university and TAFE SA courses are handled by the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC).
University entry requirements:
TO BE eligible for university entrance, South Australian students must:
COMPLETE the SACE
COMPLETE at least 90 credits of SACE Stage 2 subjects. Of the 90 credits, at least 60 must be from 20-credit Tertiary Admissions Subjects (TAS).
COMPLETE any prerequisite requirements for your chosen university courses
COMPLY with rules regarding subject combinations
OBTAIN an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR)
