SA Weather: Warm sunny weather on Thursday before showers and clouds

As winter nears its end, the state will be treated to some summery weather before cooler conditions kick in over the weekend.
Across Adelaide, temperatures will reach a top of 23C on Thursday with clouds increasing during the afternoon after a sunny day.
But it will be breezy. The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a strong wind warning for Adelaide Metropolitan Waters, Far West Coast, Upper West Coast, Lower West Coast, Central Coast, Spencer Gulf, Gulf St Vincent and Investigator Strait for Thursday and Friday.
A warning for the South Central Coast, Upper South East Coast and Lower South East Coast was only issued on the Thursday, with a gale wind alert issued for Friday.
There’s a slight chance of showers developing late in Thursday evening, with winds northerly of up to 20 to 30km/h.
On Friday, maximum temperatures will slightly drop to 19C, with a high chance of showers most likely in the morning and afternoon.
Saturday will remain cloudy as temperatures reach just 14C, with a slight chance of showers and winds south-westerly of up to 15 to 20km/h during the morning.
The sun will begin to emerge on Sunday, as temperatures remain at about 14C and partly cloudy, but the bureau has forecasted a slight chance of rain only around the hills and southern suburbs.
What to expect around Adelaide
Temperatures in Glenelg will hit a maximum of 22C on Thursday, with a slight chance of showers starting later in the evening.
Showers will kick in on Friday, as temperatures drop to a maximum of 19C, with a high chance of showers forecasted for the day.
Maximum temperatures will drop again to 14C on Saturday and Sunday, with the Bureau forecasting a slight chance of showers and winds south-westerly of up to 15 to 20 km/h in the morning on Saturday.
In Elizabeth, temperatures will be mostly sunny on Thursday with a top of 24C, and a slight chance of showers developing in the evening with northerly winds of up to 20 to 30 km/h.
Showers will set in on Friday and Saturday, when maximum temperatures reach 20C – with showers expected in the morning and afternoon – on Friday then drop to 14C on Saturday.
Sunday will bring some relief as it remains partly cloudy, with a slight chance of showers only around the hills and southern suburbs, as maximum temperatures remain 14C.
Weather conditions in Mount Barker will be slightly cooler compared to the rest of the state, after a mostly sunny day on Thursday when temperatures top 22C.
Temperatures will also drop on Friday, with the bureau predicting maximum temperatures of 18C and a high chance of showers and northerly 30 to 35km/h.
Cloudy weather conditions will remain as temperatures hit a maximum of 12C on Saturday then 13C on Sunday, with slight chance of showers expected for both days.
