SA Police called to wild brawl between 15-20 people filmed at Port Augusta basketball game

A wild fraca between a large group of people, including spectators and players, was caught on camera at the game.

A wild brawl between a large group of people including spectators and players of a basketball game has been captured on camera, with reports three people sustained injuries.

At 8.55pm, SA Police were called to a sporting complex on Flinders Tce at Port Augusta, to a fight between two teams of players and spectators.

In the video, obtained by 7News Adelaide, between 15 to 20 people can be seen entangled in an all-out brawl including, men, women, spectators and players, some who were slung to the ground by their hair.

At one point, a woman can be seen slinging another woman by her hair and punching her in the head, as a player in a blue singlet attempts to intervene, before he is grabbed from behind and slammed to the ground by a spectator.

Police said three people received minor injuries from the fight and were treated at the scene.

An investigation into the matter is ongoing, and police have asked anyone with information that may assist is asked to contact Crime Stoppers. No charges have been laid.
