Almost a week after an Eyre Peninsula woman went missing, police and family have growing concerns for her welfare – with police fearing they have almost exhausted all their options.

The 63-year-old woman from Cowell was last seen leaving her home about 5.30pm on Wednesday November 1 – in a silver Toyota Prado with the SA registration S193AWY.

She is described as 173cm tall, about 75kg with brown hair.

Eyre Western Local Service area patrols, STAR and police air wing, extensively searched Cowell, Arno Bay, Cleve, Port Neil and Tumby Bay in the Eyre Peninsula.

However, they have not been able to find her.

Police have also conducted several other investigations – including information from the public on possible sightings – which have not provided any leads to her whereabouts.

Eyre Western Local Service Officer in Charge Superintendent Paul Bahr said police are “committed to finding Jeanette” and are now seeking “help from the public”.

“We have allocated numerous resources and put in a lot of hours in attempts to find her, but ultimately we are getting close to exhausting all possible avenues of ground searches,” Mr Bahr said.

Mr Bahr urged anyone who was travelling around the area at the time to check their dashcam footage and see if they may have passed the vehicle.

“Any information no matter how big or small could be just the piece of the puzzle we need.”

Members of the public who see Jeanette or the vehicle she is travelling in, should contact the police assistance line on 131 444.

Anyone with any other information on her whereabouts should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a tip at www.crimestoppersa.com.au.
