These are South Australia’s brightest, most successful and influential exports – the best of our best conquering life in all aspects of politics, business, public service, law, sport, entertainment and media.
Having either been born in SA, or grew up here, these expatriates still call the state home after flying the coop to carve a life out across the borders.
Heading the rankings is Australia’s most senior naval officer whose influence over the nation’s future defence direction is critical with AUKUS.
He narrowly pips the country’s top spy, the intelligence chief whose work in the shadows is keeping us all safe from terrorism and other violent extremists.
