The charge against a Port Pirie woman originally accused of hitting a man with a tractor, causing him significant injuries, has been dropped.

Emergency services were called to Kitchener Tce at Risdon Park about 5.30pm on December 13 after reports a person had been hit by a tractor in a domestic incident.

A 35-year-old Port Pirie West man suffered significant leg injuries and was later treated at the Port Pirie Hospital.

Detectives later charged a 30-year-old woman, from the same address, and charged her with causing harm by dangerous driving.

On March 27, just over three months later, the charge was dropped.
