Port Pirie West man, 54, to face court after drug bust

A 54-year-old SA man will face court after police allegedly found a large amount of drugs in his home, including cannabis plants and methamphetamine.

A Port Pirie West man will face court after being reported for multiple drug offences following a search of his home.

At 9.45am Thursday, police searched the 54-year-old’s home after executing a drug warrant, police said.

Police allegedly found 13 cannabis plants, methamphetamine, drug smoking equipment and prescribed equipment.

The 54-year-old was reported for possessing a large commercial quantity of cannabis, possessing a trafficable amount of cannabis and possessing prescribed equipment.

He will be summonsed to face court at a later date.
