Port Adelaide young gun Connor Rozee has capped off a big year by becoming engaged to longtime love Maisie Packer.
The Power’s midfield superstar and his partner of over three years shared the happy news on social media, with a joint Instagram post captioned: “Forever with you”.
The post was accompanied with a series of heartfelt photos of the couple together, plus an engagement cake and a close-up of the ring, a classic round cut diamond in a four-claw setting from Class A Jewellers.
The happy couple were immediately inundated with messages from wellwishers including Rozee’s Power teammate Zak Butters, who wrote: “Unreal”.
Other players including Mitch Georgiadis, Kane Farrell, Jack Lukosius and Xavier Duursma also sent their congratulations.
Rozee, 23, enjoyed a sterling 2023 season, earning his second All-Australian jacket and finishing second in Port Adelaide’s best and fairest award, the John Cahill Medal.
Maisie is one of the daughters of Seb Packer, managing director of Packers South Australia, a manufacturer of aluminium windows and doors, as well as the founder of TreeClimb.
She graduated this year from the University of Adelaide with a degree in psychological science.
