Two teenage girls have been arrested in connection with a series of crimes following a four-month investigation by authorities.

Police allege on October 30, 2022 three teenage girls flagged down a ride share driver who drove them to a service station on Grange Rd at Flinders Park.

One of the girls then attempted to steal the vehicle, but the driver fled into the service station.

He was followed by two of the girls who threatened him with a pair of scissors and demanded the keys to the vehicle.

He fled again before the girls turned their attention to the service station staff, threatening the workers and demanding their car keys.

The girls fled the area on food with a number of stolen food items, but not before causing damage to the entry to the property.

On December 8, three teenage girls entered a liquor store at Blair Athol and reportedly stole alcohol.

On January 10, two teenage girls entered a service station on the corner of Henley Beach and Tapleys Hill Rds at Fulham Gardens and allegedly threatened staff with spray cans before leaving on foot with cigarettes and food items.

Two days later, two teenage girls entered a supermarket on Grange Rd at Findon and allegedly tried to steal two electric scooters.

Staff confronted the pair and one of the girls produced a pair of scissors and threatened staff, spitting at them. The girls fled on foot empty-handed.

Police attended a Flinders Park address a short time later and arrested a 13 and a 16-year-old girl, both from Valley View.

The 13-year-old was charged with various offences including aggravated robbery, theft, property damage and breach of bail.

The 16-year-old was charged with attempted aggravated robbery and breach of bail.

Both girls were refused police bail and appeared in the Adelaide Youth Court on Friday where they were granted court bail to reappear in early February.
