Police are investigating after a stolen car was torched overnight after crashing into a tree in wetlands.

Police are investigating after a stolen car was set on fire at Oaklands Park early on Sunday morning.
Around 2:30am, police and MFS were called to the wetlands carpark off Oaklands Rd after reports of a car fire.
On arrival, the Mitsubishi SUV was found engulfed in flames, appearing to have slammed into a tree.
The car was destroyed in the blaze and had been reported stolen between April 16 and 18 from Ascot Park, according to police.
