Police investigating after man attempted to grab teenage girl at bus interchange

Police are investigating after a man attempted to grab a teenage girl at a north-western suburb bus interchange.

Police are investigating an incident where a man allegedly tried to grab a teenage girl at the Arndale Shopping Centre bus interchange.

The 15-year-old was approached by a man driving a white SUV at the bus interchange just after 9pm on May 25.

He tried to speak with her but she refused. He then allegedly parked the SUV, walked up to her and tried to grab her.

The girl managed to break free and flee without injury.

Police are now asking members of the public who may have seen the incident at Kilkenny to come forward as they investigate.

Police said the man has been described as “having a dark complexion, about 170cm tall with a medium build, wearing a dark blue baseball cap.”
