Police hunt for car involved in hit-run collision with motorbike at Paralowie

Police are investigating two hit-and-run-crashes overnight, one of which left a motorcyclist in hospital with serious injuries.

A motorbike rider has been left with serious injuries after a hit-run collision with a car north of Adelaide on Friday night.

Police are searching for the driver of a white or silver 4WD dual cab ute after a collision between a motorbike and the car at the intersection of Whites Rd and Waterloo Corner Rd at Paralowie about 8pm.

When emergency services arrived at the scene they located the 52-year-old male Riverland motorbike rider on the roadway.

He was taken by SAAS to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The ute did not stop following the crash and fled the scene and was last seen heading north on Whites Rd.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or who has any information that may assist the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers.

Meantime, police are investigating another hit-run at Unley overnight.

Emergency services were called to Unley Rd near Greenhill Rd after a Mitsubishi Outlander travelling north crashed into a parked Mitsubishi Outlander about 9.20pm.

Witnesses reported the driver of the Outlander fled the car and headed south on Unley Rd.

Patrols, with the assistance of a police dog, searched the area and both cars were towed from the scene.

Police are encouraging anyone with information that may assist the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers.
