POLICE have uncovered what is believed to be the largest clandestine laboratory found in South Australia, along with more than $30 million worth of illicit drugs.
Officers seized more than 100,000 tablets from the property at Walker Flat, on the Murray River, and also found 60L of chemicals known to be used to manufacture illicit drugs.
An industrial pill press was also found.
Serious and Organised Crime Investigation Branch detectives are at the scene investigating and say the drugs have a street value of more than $30 million.
The laboratory was found in a shack on the banks of the river and police will also allege a truck on the property was used for manufacturing the drugs.
Officers are expected to remain at the property for several days as investigations continue.
