Police have arrested more alleged drug traffickers trading in large commercial quantities of controlled drugs after a bust earlier in January.

It follows an investigation into a drug seizure at Tailem Bend on January 18, where a 48-year-old Sellicks Hill man was allegedly found in possession of three litres of meth oil, 14 grams of cocaine, 4000 ecstasy tablets and $35,000 cash.

Police say they have now discovered two more people allegedly involved.

On Wednesday, police arrested a 45-year-old Gilles Plains man for alleged money laundering in connection with the Tailem Bend seizure.

He was also charged with two counts of alleged trafficking in a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug and alleged trafficking in a controlled drug.

The 45-year-old has been refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday, February 1.

Police also conducted a search at a Prospect property as part of the ongoing investigation and seized 48 pounds of packaged cannabis.

The 37-year-old Prospect woman was arrested and charged with alleged trafficking in a controlled drug.

She was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on May 1.

If anyone has information on the manufacture, sale, or supply of illicit drugs, police urges them to report it anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online.
