CCTV reveals white van wanted over a hit and run crash at Kilburn

A white van with interstate plates allegedly involved in a hit-and-run crash at Kilburn has been caught on CCTV. Watch here.

CCTV footage has captured the moments before a driver fled the scene of a hit-and-run crash at Kilburn on Tuesday morning.

Emergency services were called to Churchill Rd just before 7:30am after reports of an accident between a white van and cyclist.

The bike rider, a 44-year-old Mile End woman, was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police allege that the van crashed into the rear of the cyclist – who was travelling north on Kilburn Rd – causing her to come off her bike and crash into a street sign.

The driver of the white van allegedly stopped after the crash and approached the woman before driving away.

The white van – which police say could be a Toyota HiAce with interstate plates – was last seen travelling north on Churchill Rd.

Police say the vehicle would have damage on the front left side.

The driver was wearing shorts and a black polo shirt and is described as caucasian, bald, in his late 30s and about 175cm tall.

Police urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

This comes as police search for a white Land Rover that collided with a cyclist at Kent Town last Monday.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Rundle St and The Parade West just after 8:30am after reports of a hit and run.

The driver of the luxury car did not stop and was seen turning onto The Parade West.

The 32-year-old bike rider was treated for minor injuries at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
