Police close investigation over indecent assault of 15-year-old girl at Aberfoyle Park
Police have closed an investigation into a teenage girl’s report she was indecently assaulted at Aberfoyle Park, saying there’s “no risk”.

Police say there is “no risk to the community” after closing an investigation into the indecent assault of a teenage girl at Aberfoyle Park.
The 15-year-old said a man had followed her into Brooke Drive Reserve near the Happy Valley Sports Club just after 5pm on Monday 15 August, before indecently assaulting her.
Police arrived at the scene shortly afterwards but could not locate the unknown man.
On Monday, SA Police said they were satisfied following an extensive investigation into the incident there was “no risk to the community” and no charges would be laid.
“Police would like to thank the public for their assistance however no further information is required in relation to this matter,” an SA Police spokesperson said.
Last week, an identikit photo of the suspect was release by police.
The man was described as being caucasian, about 20 years old, skinny build, about 180cm tall with close cut light brown hair and blue eyes.
