Person injured after car crashes into tram stop outside Royal Adelaide Hospital

A pedestrian has been injured after a car crashed into a tram stop outside the Royal Adelaide Hospital on Friday afternoon — the east bound lanes of North Terrace are currently closed.

A pedestrian has been injured after a car crashed into a tram stop outside the Royal Adelaide Hospital on Friday afternoon.

The car lost control and crashed into the bench on North Tce just before 2pm.

A man received minor injuries and was taken to hospital. The car driver was also taken to hospital as a precaution.

Motorists are advised that east bound lanes of North Terrace are currently closed while tow-trucks are arranged to remove the car.

Police will be investigating the crash.
